Dreadlord on Black Dragon

Well it took me long enough but I finally finished my Dreadlord on Black Dragon.  I based the entire dragon by using my new airbrush gun and then I just finished it off by doing some of the detail work that I couldn't really do with the airbrush because I'm just not that good with it yet.

Vampires vs. Skaven

This was the first game we played that all of the miniatures were painted.  I lost a lot of terrain in Hurricane Sandy so we had to redo the entire board and all of the terrain.

We played a take and hold battle of sorts.  It wasn't a scenario from the book we just pulled it out of our heads.  Basically we had to reach each others strongholds.  Skaven had the watchtower and the Vampires had a castle.

Unfortunately I only lasted about 3 turns before Zacharias the Everliving and his dragon started wreaking havoc.  Not too mention she has a lot more wizards than I do.

I have a Dark Elves army I'm working on currently so hopefully that will even the odds a little bit.

Update

I know I haven't posted in awhile and things have really been tough ever since Hurricane Sandy and now I have to deal with a death in the family. But anyway I plan on posting again real soon. My loving wife has agreed to play WHFB with me and now she has decided to buy me a brand new army. The Dark Elves. I can't wait to assemble and paint them. I plan to post Battle Reports along with pictures. Ever since Christmas we have been building up and making new terrain and a new board that will actually fit in her mothers house. I'll be taking pictures of the first game and then I'll start taking battle report notes. So keep your eyes out and thank you for following.
